These 17 goals which replace the Millenium Development goals are aimed at tansforming the world to the better.
According to the UN's page on the goals, 2016 presents an unprecedented opportunity to bring the countries and citizens of the world together to embark on a new path to improve the lives of people everywhere as countries adopted a new sustainable development agenda and global agreement on climate change. The overall aim is to build a better world with no one left behind.
